Ruvini has wide experience in intellectual property law and started her career as a trade mark examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand.
She has a high level of expertise in intellectual property and her areas of practice include:
- Branding strategies ;
- Trade mark availability advice ;
- Prosecution of trade mark and design applications (locally and internationally) ;
- Trade mark proceedings, including oppositions and post-registration proceedings ;
- Infringement of intellectual property including trade marks and copyright;
- Licensing;
- Acquisition and transfer of intellectual property
Ruvini is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Licensing Executives Society Australia and New Zealand.
