Pauline joined the Nelson office of Duncan Cotterill as an Associate in February 2002, having previously practised in Central Otago, Nelson, London and Blenheim.
Pauline has extensive litigation experience and now specialises in all areas of family law. This includes a large amount of relationship property law. She also practises as a mediator and is a senior Lawyer for Children. Pauline is currently a member of the New Zealand Law Society Family Law Section Counsel for Children Sub-Committee.
Recent Experience:
- Preparation and finalisation of numerous complex relationship property contracting out agreements
- Representing clients who have separated. Covers issues relating to family trusts, spousal maintenance, economic disparity, inheritances/separate property claims, children’s issues
- Receiving instructions from the Ministry of Justice to represent children in challenging parental disputes, including Hague Convention child abduction cases.
