Rebecca specialises in insurance related litigation primarily in the defence of professional service providers including: engineers, architects, accountants, real estate agents and solicitors.
Construction related matters also form a significant part of her practice. In particular, Rebecca provides advice on issues arising under the Constructions Contracts Act, Building Acts 1991 and 2004 and the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Act. She acts for all participants in the construction process; design professionals, contractors, developers and home owners.
Rebecca has experience in the various litigation and dispute resolution forum including the Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial arbitrations and a considerable number of mediations. She also advises and acts on intellectual property and trade practices disputes.
Rebecca joined Duncan Cotterill in 1999 and became an Associate in April 2004.
