Robyn specialises in property and trust areas, and also has a diverse commercial practice.
Her property practice includes inner city, suburban and rural subdivisions, as well as sales and acquisitions of property in all of these areas. Robyn also has extensive experience in advising clients on the appropriate asset ownership structures for their business and/ or personal affairs.
Robyn was a member on the Wairarapa District Health Board from 1999 to 2004, initially as an appointed Director, and subsequently as an elected member.
Recent experience includes acting for:
- Several developers on the sale of unit-titles inner city apartment accommodation
- A rural client undertaking a subdivision of a farm land into lifestyle blocks, and setting up a structure for the ongoing conservation and maintenance of the natural environment
- Small business owners wishing to effectively structure their business and family affairs, by way of forming family trusts, loss-attributing qualifying companies for rental investments, and a company for the operation of the business
- A wide range of property clients, from first-home buyers to rental property investors.
Robyn joined Duncan Cotterill in June 2002 after practising in the Wairarapa for 10 years on a wide range of property, employment, trust and local government matters.
