Graduates 2011
Duncan Cotterill has taken on eight graduates this year, two in each of its New Zealand offices (Christchurch, Wellington, Nelson and Auckland). The graduates cooked up a storm during their induction week when they stepped into the kitchen at the New Zealand School of Food and Wine to prepare an ambitious menu - the idea being to encourage teamwork and communication in a different environment. Graduates work in commercial and litigation teams for the first six months before branching out to another area in which they may be interested. Irrespective of which area of the law you want to follow, we think it’s a good idea to get a broad grounding initially which will no doubt help as your practice develops.
