Four golds for Duncan Cotterill

It was a stellar night for the firm last evening at the prestigious 2010 New Zealand Law Awards, we won four awards and were runner-up in two other sections.

While we have won awards in the past, this is our best performance yet, edging out other leading names from around the country.

Our awards included:

• Large Law Firm of the Year Award
• 100+ Employer of Choice Award  
• Insurance Law Award
• Resource Management and Environment Law Award

We were placed second in the Intellectual Property and Litigation and Dispute Resolution categories.

Raewyn Lovett, chair of Duncan Cotterill, said the achievement was particularly pleasing as the NZ Law Awards are voted on by clients.

“The fact that so many take the time to recognise our efforts and support us in these awards is something that we are very proud of.

The record tally reflects the growing strength of our Duncan Cotterill network across our offices in Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Sydney and Nelson,” she said.

Excellence in communication with staff following the Canterbury earthquake of September 4 was a key reason why Duncan Cotterill Lawyers won the prestigious 100+ Employer of Choice Award at the New Zealand Law Awards.
