Duncan Cotterill attracts top talent from overseas

Duncan Cotterill is delighted to appoint three new associates, two who have returned to the national and trans-Tasman firm after short absences.

Chief executive Janice Fredric said the appointments indicate the high calibre of solicitors in the market place looking to secure their career prospects at a time of economic uncertainty.

“We have had three top lawyers return to Duncan Cotterill this year, either after overseas stints or working briefly for other practices. The wealth of talent is unprecedented as younger people, in particular, review their options.”

Andrew RobinsonAndrew Robinson - joined the commercial team in Duncan Cotterill’s Wellington office. He brings 14 years of legal experience gained in New Zealand, Australia and the Cayman Islands across a wide range of corporate and commercial activity..Glen RyanGlen Ryan - who was previously with Duncan Cotterill between 2002-07, has spent two years working in Sydney for a major Australian law firm, where he practised in litigation and insolvency.  He has broad experience in civil and commercial litigation, as well as contract and commercial disputes.


Sarah WatsonSarah Watson - returns to Duncan Cotterill’s growing environmental law team. She has represented clients on a range of matters at district council, regional council and Environment Court hearings.
